W+K Cares sent two groups out into the community to volunteer in November. Our digital production team headed to the Children’s Book Bank while HR and Broadcast Production spent the afternoon at the Oregon Food Bank.
Every month, the W+K Portland office opens its doors for the First Thursday crowds, and this month’s gallery exhibition is a true winter wonderland. Local artists Crystal Schenk and Shelby Davis have brought unicorns, narwhals, winged wolves, owls and more under one roof. Tonight, you can see their magical creations and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and a performance from PSU’s Chamber Choir.

Last week was all about celebration for our global offices, who partied for engagements, new babies, multiple holidays, awards and season finales. And there’s even a gif of the week to prove it.
Recently, Iain Tait, our global interactive executive creative director, was inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement, which ”aims to “recognize young talented individuals who are reinventing the profession of advertising.” Check out Iain’s excellent acceptance speech on why he’s not an ad guy and see some photos from the event below.
