XOXO Festival: What It’s All About & Why We Loved It

A week ago, the brand-new XOXO Festival hit Portland, and for the next three days it was like the best bits of the internet–all the earnestness, the niceness, the anyone-can-make-it-if-you-just-try-hard-ness–camped out at the lo-fi YU Contemporary and generally hung out, fertilised, cross-pollinated and exploded into roughly four hundred shards of optimistic potential.

W+K Portland Celebrates Halloween 2011 with Kids, Costumes, Reptiles, Haunted Conference Rooms, Bouncy Castles & More

Every year around the end of October, the W+K Portland transforms into a Halloween wonderland for kids, with popcorn machines, pony rides, face painting and more. Each quad on every floor decorates their area according to a theme, which this year included Fractured Fairy Tales, Horror Beauty Parlor, HR/PR ER, Lost in Space 2, Candy Land, the Great Pumpkin, 80s Dance Party, Dia de los Muertos and a Dismembered Dungeon. ROFLCon Summit Attendees Gather at W+K to Explore & Discuss the Impact of Internet Culture, Memes & Communities
