The Return of El Tigre

He’s back. After eight months away from golf recovering from knee surgery, El Tigre made his return at the Accenture Match Play Championship. Golf fans, journalists and sponsors have been breathlessly awaiting his return. But what about everyone else?

Nike Ankle Insurance

Nike created the Zoom Kobe IV. The lightest basketball shoe ever made. Literally. And they were scared. It’s a low-top! Kids don’t think they can play in low-tops! They think they’ll break their ankles! Oh my goodness!

The shoe was made, in the first place, because Kobe called bullshit on that all too common misconception. “Soccer players put twice the torque on their ankles, and they’re fine in low-tops, fool!”

Desmond Marzette delivered another stellar brief, and we flipped it on ’em. “If it’s the lightest quickest fastest shoe Nike has ever made, then shit, you gonna be breakin’ your defenders ankles!”

So, Kobe, being the compassionate competitor that he is, decided to start Ankle Insurance Company to cover the ankles of all the dummies dumb enough to d-up on players wearing the Zoom Kobe IV.

Christy Ruiz worked some media magic to get us a barn door gatefold in Slam magazine. Slams first ever barn door gatefold!

Brandon Pierce offered up his voice to spice up the web film.

Andres Murillo kept it all together as we shot print, film, pr, and a tooth paste add all in 5 hours. God bless the Spanish!

Thanks to all that lent a helping hand!GATEFOLD_01GATEFOLD_02

Nike Wake Up Call

Complacency has set in in Latin American football. Arrogance in their ability overtook the neccessity to train. It is time to remind the future stars of tomorrow, that skill alone is not enough. It is time to remind them of the grit and dedication that’s needed to make it to the top. This is their Final Wake Up Call.

The Religion of Sport

Or the sport of religion. Either way the universe is about to fold into itself. Scott Kleiner was seen walking around studio with a yamika yarmulke with an emblazoned swoosh upon his crown. Result.
