W+K and Hulu Partner for Cornhole Game Tournament on Deck

Portland’s weather has turned cold and grey, so it’s with fond memories that we look back to September’s cornhole tournament party, co-hosted on the 6th floor deck with Hulu. Check out our pics, the final standings an animated gif and a video, below.

Last month, W+Kers gathered on the deck for one final hurrah before the weather turned: a tournament of cornhole, a lawn game which the New York Times calls “a simple yet addictive pastime with Midwestern origins”. In this game, players try to toss beanbags into a hole in a slightly raised piece of wood.

Players watched with rapt attention before a flurry of rain forced everyone inside, where the boards were set up in the Atrium.

The final standings:

1st place:
Pashington Obeng & team

2nd place:
Shayna Eberle & Joshua Perez

3rd place:
Suzy Hart & team

Hulu partnered with W+K to bring this event to our office, and they’ve compiled a video of photos from the evening:

And the obligatory .gif of the festivities:
