This past weekend was the 24/7 concert at WK. It was a huge success drawing so many people that some had to be turned away. Many stayed for the big finale of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Mathew Carroll is quoted as having "goosebumps" from the performance.
Here is a small news clip from KGW local News channel 8 about the event.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success.
What a fantastic concert/community get together. Thank you.

As one of the performers in a multitude of concerts at all hours I profoundly thank the entire W&K family, all my incredible colleagues, phenom volunteers and the nurturing public. A very special place, PDX...hard to imagine this happening anywhere else but here. Yet I hope this is ignition fuel....

Don't try to hard, the best things come when you least expect them to. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
