How Can We Be Runners If We Can’t Be Friends?

Records fell this weekend at the 2008 Hood to Coast relay race, as W+K’s Michael Bolton Running Club completed the 197-mile road race in a blistering 27:17:53. The time was a best-ever for the Bolton team and good enough to place them 16th out of 88 teams in the corporate division, one spot ahead of their archrival Nike Advertising team.

The Michael Bolton Award award goes to Scott Cromer for gutting out a 6 mile run after downing an uncooperative footlong sausage dog that was barking from the depths of his duodenum for the duration of his relay leg.

Most Valuable Runner goes to Erik “White Flash” Weeman, who put on a show with his topless, sub 7-minute miles through the streets of Southeast Portland. H2c_11
