Yeah Ed, 'bout time wk recognizes our talent! You got the skills to pay the bills! Represent!

Saoul

Congrats Ed! I know you will be making room for all of your DesignThenEat partners in the near future.
God Bless you dude.

Gian

These are so tight. Where can I get a "NOW YOU KNOW" poster??

Dan

Looks awesome Sasha.

Charles Taylor

Baltimore is not going to be big enough for you now. I always thought you would take the leap.

Sarsfield

Walk in it Bro! It's all yours. Can't wait to see what's next!

Gitamba

I really dig the photography and I agree with every that is some bad ass CW ED. I seriously would hate to have been the guys who had to get some dudes um...junk in my face over and over til they got the right shot.

Aaron Eichorst

They look great but why keep hitting that same ignorant drum that its not "right" to have your face next to some dude's junk. There are plenty of dudes that have to deal with this bigoted idea in a real way every day. Love the others though.

Alex

I'm a copywriter. I get it. But it's still kind of lame to fall back on something so base to get a laugh. Especially when it's at the expense of a whole group of people to whom homophobia isn't a joke. A perfect example is the comment from Gitamba posted above. As an insider, I really do get it. And despite being gay myself, I still think it's kind of funny. Inappropriately funny. But funny, none-the-less. I just don't think it's socially responsible to feed into prejudice to sell a product.

Rio

To the ladies who desinged this. Haven't your faces been in some dudes crotch before?

max

No more Nikes for me! Screw you and your homophobic crap. There is no excuse in this day and age...

scott

WOW, homophobic advertising. I guess we shouldn't have expected anything less from a bunch of girls who have jobs selling wannabe shoes to moron jocks. Maybe they will get the Hooters account next.

jjh

Have to disagree with my gay brothers. This series of ads is more basketball trash-talking than homophobia.

On the other hand, the new Mr. T Snickers ad where he attacks a swishy-looking speed walker for not being manly enough is something we SHOULD be outraged about. Gay bashing is so funny!

Let's pick our battles and not cry homophobia at the slighest joke.

Brandon

As a gay male and a black male, I find that some of the commenters are jumping the gun and crying wolf for an ad that I feel is in no way homophobic. Growing up, what made dunking on someone embarrassing was and is not a man's genitals in your face but the fact that you were slammed on. That's what this is about and I can't help but to feel that it is YOU (the negative commenters) that are ignorant by making such knee jerk reactions. I can't help but to feel that these comments are coming from people who don't play or enjoy basketball to get the point of reference.

stephen

Way to perpetuate homophobic stereotypes... "that ain't right"... i'm sure some 15 year old gay kid who is struggling with his sexuality will see these and think great things about himself. What a positive message NIke!

Brandon

And I'm also a designer and these ads look great.

dontthinkso

Nice to see the clueless designers congratulating themselves on their bigoted work. This is a great example of why the adverising industry is held in such high esteem. Thanks for helping the gay teen suicide rate climb, even if just by a little. Great work, geniuses.

Jeff Guard

As a customer of Nike products, I don't appreciate some of the messages on this campaign that can be construed as homophobic. I will not be buying Nike for a good long while because of this campaign, which also is just plain boring. It lacks invention and creative spirit.

kaliana

Wieden+Kennedy and Nike ain't right. Stop promoting BIGOTRY.

Chan

No more Nikes for me! Hope the campaign was worth it.

Willy

Stop promoting bigotry. These are
so homophobic. Im seeing a boycott in the picture for Nike.

JT

wow, settle down...this isn't homophobic in the slightest! i am a gay guy AND a designer AND a photographer, and the only problem i have with these ads is that i didn't take the pictures or come up with the design myself.
how is dunking on some dude homophobic? should players get tossed out of games if they react badly to getting hit in the face with someone's crotch? i think the point here is that it just sucks when this happens, and i am pretty sure it is just a cheap shot on the other players part.
i am so sick of all this PC crap. pretty soon we are going to live in this bland colorless society where people aren't allowed to talk or have opinions or, god forbid, have a reaction to an unpleasant experience.
settle the hell down. i was made fun of in elementary school, and high school and college and every single chance that a bigot or homophobe crosses my path. and i sure as hell didn't cringe when i saw this ad.
this kind of attitude only furthers people's negative attitude towards us as gays.
and as a gay man, i can tell you, i have no desire to live in a world that bends to my every impulsive thought. what a non-challenging world that would be, and what a sad, boring, sterilized human race we would have then.

Otto

Sorry-you lost. Homophobia doesn't sell any more. Sad re-creation.

Sean

Yeah, I'm torn about this one too. I get the whole junk in the face issue, but at the same time I'm thinking it was more about getting run over, that's what the creators were focusing on. I suppose it could have been done with a knee or an elbow instead of crotches, but I'm not sure it's saying what a lot of people think it is. Insensitive, definitely. Out to make a homophobic point, yeah, I don't quite see it.
