Baby of the month

Karen Hite dropped by studio this morning with little Sadie. Immediately surrounded with "goochie goos" and "she’s adorable!" from all sides. Run Karen!

New Starbuckers

Welcome 2 new faces in Starbucks studio.

Sam Tudyk (left) and Christina Piluso (right). Starting with Sam: She’s lived in Portland for 4 years and is originally from Plano, Texas. She is coming from greeting card masters Egg Press and is an active painter. Check out some of her work on her website or currently view in person at Lunar Boy Gallery in Astoria or Garnish Boutique on Alberta. She recently rescued a fish from certain death that is now swimming happily on her desk.

Christina is an OSU grad and is originally from Boring. She was last working at Olive in New York. She is an avid bocce player and claims she has a tape worm in her stomach named Gulliver. (This would explain her constant hunger.) Christina is a runner. She is currently awaiting if her lottery ball gets her into the New York City Marathon. Our fingers are crossed.

name that baby

Josh Nelson and his wife Liz have made a baby. They need some help coming up with a name for the little guy. I am thinking Guisepe would be nice. Guisepe Nelson has a nice ring to it. Add your suggestions below. Everyone is happy and healthy. Big congratulations from all of us.

Update: A name has been chosen from the suggestions left in the comments area. Liam Harry Joshua Nelson is the first baby to be named from this blog. Congratulations, one and all.

hooking up on the roof

The sun had reason to shine on our faces today. Kurt Parker proposed to Rebecca Kading on top of Mt. Hood over the weekend. She said yes.

The idea caught on like wildfire and before you knew it, everyone was hooking up.

First it was Janine and Tram.

Then is was Christin, Josh and Irish. Pets are for lovers.

Aaron Lee and Jane Monaghan were all over each other.

Rebecca caught the festive spirit and was hanging on Steve.
Kurt knows the score so he found Erin over by the Guacamole.

That left old Jesse with the booze. Sometimes just as well. The Sun makes people crazy in Oregon. Remember that at your next backyard get together.
