Last week the studio manager from WK London, Oliver McQuitty, came to Portland, Oregon to see how things run at the world headquarters. When Oliver got here he was all business. He wanted to know about the retouching department, the kodak proofing machine, the large format printer and network file management. We broke him of that kind of behavior.
We took him out to the Nike employee store. Twice.
We filled him with beer a couple of times and shared a bunch of laughs. It must be a bit stressfull flying around the world to hangout in a place full of people you don't know. For Oliver, it was as if he has been working here for years.
Cheers Oliver.
Here's to a job well done.

Ollie - I'm expecting you to come back with a detailed development plan for the London studio, to be presented to the whole agency! Or at least presents from the Nike store.

Hey Neil,
Congrats on the big Nokia win. You deserve to party. Since W+K's London office spearheaded the Nokia presentation, I assume that Sam B., Laura Q. or you will handle the global account. What about Nokia North America? Will that go to someone in Portland?
